The artichoke is grown from the 60 and is a typical vegetables of our territory. The cultivated varieties range from Morello (Thema), variety prevalent in our area, Romaneschi. 

 


ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS: artichokes are a veritable mine of active principles and have special healing powers. They have very few calories, are very tasty and have lots of fiber, as well as a good amount of calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, iron epotassio. Have regulatory properties of appetite, have a diuretic effect and are recommended to fix cholesterol problems, diabetes, hypertension, overweight and cellulite.

EXTERIOR FEATURES: tomato is a bright red color, tenacious and bright green stalk with hair that is a sign of freshness.

 

ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS: it possesses a wide variety of essential vitamins accompanied by scientifically attested antitumor properties and natural antioxidants such as lycopene, responsible for the red colour. 

 

Pulp: Soda and juice with rich bitter-sweet taste, characteristic of the territory.

The company is recognized by the Italian market leader for the production of this traditional Sicilian vegetable.

EXTERIOR FEATURES: Sicilian pepper differs from the Spanish and competition for the brilliance and luster of the skin and its vibrant color, we find also in the greenish veins product that distinguish most product freshness. 

 

ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS: it is a product rich in vitamin B1 and especially C .150 mg of vitamin C per 100 g of pepper! It is by far the richest vegetable of this vitamin, if you only think that oranges have 50 mg per 100 g of product, one third of that of the pepper.
