To keep intact the water resources of our country , the company has eliminated the exploitation of underground aquifers , thanks to the latest generation of greenhouse structures made of a water recovery system , which allow to retrieve every drop of water falling on structures . The water is then stored in the reservoirs that are filled all winter , allowing the company to meet its needs during the summer . This system , besides the exploitation of aquifers , has eliminated the problem of soil salinization and desertification insists that in many ranges of southern Siclia .
